What this site is
This site is an informational workbook about starting with desktop PC games. It is general information, written for a broad audience, and it cannot take account of your particular circumstances, hardware or household.
It is not professional advice of any kind. Nothing here is legal advice, financial advice, security advice for an organisation, or technical support for any product. Where a question has a legal or regulatory answer in Australia, the course points to the body that publishes the authoritative material, and that material governs rather than our summary of it.
It is not accredited training: no sign-up, no assessment, no certificate, no qualification and no record of who has read what.
Product information changes
Details about any product mentioned here — what it is, what it needs, what it costs, which platforms it runs on, what it contains — belong to that product's vendor and can change at any time without notice to us. We deliberately avoid restating such details and instead tell you to read them at the source on the day you are deciding. Check the vendor's own site before acting on anything.

This site links to external sites, including Australian government bodies and a paid affiliate link described on our Affiliate Disclosure page. Those sites are controlled by other people. We have no responsibility for their content, availability, security or practices, and a link is not an endorsement of anything beyond its usefulness as a reference. The text, layout and code of this site belong to IGOA s.r.o. You may read it, print it and copy the checklists for your own household's use, including printing them for a family member or a friend you are helping. Republishing the material, in whole or substantially, or presenting it as your own, is not permitted without written permission. The names of other organisations and products mentioned here belong to their owners.
Availability
We review the site at least twice a year, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and pages may be changed, corrected or withdrawn at any time. If you find an error, write to info@purepremise.online.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Those rights apply in full, regardless of anything written here.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law permits, IGOA s.r.o. is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on general information published here, including loss arising from decisions you make about hardware, accounts, purchases or any third-party product. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to supplying the information again.
Australian law also prohibits misleading or deceptive conduct in trade, and that applies to us as publisher. It is one reason this site quotes no prices and publishes no scores.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where IGOA s.r.o. is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction over disputes about them. That choice does not displace any consumer protection you are entitled to under Australian law, or under the law of the country where you usually live, and it does not prevent you from bringing a complaint to a regulator in your own country.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect, and using the site after that date means you accept the version then published.
